PRAXIS III Assessment

The PRAXIS III is a challenging assessment of your classroom performance and teaching abilities. The PRAXIS 3 assessment is used for teachers during their first 2 years of teaching.

The PRAXIS III assessment system covers the following areas:

Organizing content for student learning (teaching planning) Professional responsibilities Creating an environment for learning (classroom environment) Instruction

A trainer PRAXIS III assessor will be evaluating you on multiple criteria. The PRAXIS III assessor will send a report to ETS and the teacher. The PRAXIS III cannot be used to make employment decisions about currently licensed teachers. However, a poor PRAXIS III assessment can leave a blot on your record as an educator.
